Hosted by Riess LeMieux, The Blueprint Conference returns for its fifth year on October 29, 2026, at the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District, bringing together leaders from construction, design, engineering, development, insurance, law, and related industries.

This year’s conference will feature six sessions addressing issues that directly impact construction projects and the businesses behind them. The program will cover the concerns facing chief legal officers, Louisiana’s Construction Manager at Risk process, regional economic development, artificial intelligence in construction, insurance, and recent legal developments.

The 2026 lineup includes New Orleans Mayor Helena Moreno, Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng, and Greater New Orleans, Inc. CEO Michael Hecht for a keynote panel focused on economic development across the region. Matthew H. Baker, Architect and Director of the State of Louisiana’s Office of Facility Planning and Control, will bring firsthand perspective to the discussion of CMAR procurement and state-funded capital projects, while Tulane University Professor of Practice and Senior Advisor for AI Literacy Knud Berthelsen will join industry leaders for a session examining the practical implications of AI for construction businesses.

Throughout the day, attorneys, contractors, owners, designers, insurers, technology leaders, and other professionals will share experience from their respective sides of the industry, with a focus on the decisions, risks, and developments affecting projects from planning through completion.

The Blueprint Conference also provides time throughout the day to connect with industry professionals and executives from across Louisiana, exchange ideas, and strengthen relationships across the construction community.
