In 2018, after noticing a gap in Louisiana legal resources geared to the construction industry, Riess LeMieux’s founding partners, Michael R.C. Riess and Christopher K. LeMieux sought to build a firm to uniquely meet the legal needs of top businesses and professionals in the industry. The pair started Riess LeMieux with over 50 combined years of experience and a drive to provide personalized attention to diverse clients over various practice areas.
Michael, Chris, and the firm have surpassed their initial goal. Riess LeMieux now employs 17 deeply skilled attorneys who cover over thirteen practice areas. The firm and its attorneys are nationally and regionally recognized for their practice. The firm has been included in Construction Executives’s Top 50 Construction Law Firms in America and is about to host its third annual Blueprint Conference on October 17, 2024.
