Brandon Tate has served as an associate attorney at Riess LeMieux since November 2025. He represents businesses and public entities in various legal matters across the State of Louisiana. Brandon approaches each task with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that clients receive thorough, effective, and strategically-sound representation at every stage of advocacy.

Brandon originally joined Riess LeMieux as a law clerk, serving in that role beginning in January 2023. As the firm’s law clerk, he provided substantial support to the firm’s clients in a wide range of areas including contractor licensing requirements, bid disputes, delays, liens, bonds, defense and indemnity, worker’s compensation, negligence damages, collections and  litigation.

Brandon received his juris doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he was member of the Loyola Journal of Public Interest Law and staff-member of Loyola’s Moot Court program. He founded and served as inaugural editor-in-chief for the Southwest Journal of Law and Equality—a law journal affiliated with a regional arm of the National Black Law Student Association. He also served as a teaching assistant to Professor Emily Bishop in Loyola’s lawyering program.

Brandon’s early experience includes serving as a judicial intern in the chambers of Judge John W. deGravelles of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana and as a judicial intern and externing in the Appeals Division of the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office.
