Partners Michael R. C. Riess and Christopher K. LeMieux have brought together a new team of top New Orleans lawyers from three separate law firms to offer a unique suite of legal services to serve the state’s top businesses and professionals.
NEW ORLEANS, LA, Feb.26, 2018 – New Orleans’ newest law firm, Riess LeMieux, aims to meet the legal needs of top businesses and professionals across the state in a unique way. Officially launched on Monday, February 26th, the new firm is under the leadership of Michael R.C. Riess and Christopher LeMieux who have a combined 50 years of legal experience.
While Riess LeMieux will serve clients in dozens of practice areas, their specialties include the complex litigation of construction, commercial and business advising, bankruptcy litigation, commercial transactions, maritime advice and class action and multi-district litigation.
“We have identified a gap here in Louisiana,” says firm partner Michael R. C. Riess. “Most law firms in our state focus on a few very specific practices areas, or are so large that they can’t provide the individual attention their clients need. Along with specializing in a number of practice areas, Riess LeMieux has brought together a group of deeply experienced attorneys who have worked for decades on a broad spectrum of cases within their respective fields.
