Antonio’s leadership and dedication to service are exemplified by his tenure as the student board member on the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors where he served from 2016 to 2017. After confirmation of his election by the Louisiana State Senate and former Governor John Bel Edwards, Antonio embraced his role on the Board as the primary voice for the System’s 90,000 students, providing policy guidance and fiscal oversight to the nine Louisiana universities within the system. During law school, Antonio was a recognized member of the Phi Delta Phi honor society and an active participant on Loyola’s trial advocacy team. During his time at Loyola, he also served as a Rule XX student practitioner in the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justic, handling criminal defense cases for indigent clients.
