Congratulations to Trey Talley for his appointment as a delegate from the Forty-First Judicial District to the House of Delegates of the Louisiana State Bar Association, covering Orleans Parish, for the 2025 to 2027 term.
The House of Delegates is the policy-making body of the Louisiana State Bar Association. Established in 1957, the House of Delegates is responsible for approving proposed amendments to the LSBA’s Bylaws and House Rules of Procedure, as well as acting on resolutions submitted by bar groups or individuals. Each judicial district elects one delegate per district judge, with members serving two-year terms. The House meets periodically to deliberate and establish policies that guide the association’s activities and initiatives.
Trey Talley joined the firm as an associate in 2020. Trey practices primarily in the area of construction litigation and represents clients ranging from general contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers, and design professionals, including architects and engineers. He has represented clients in a wide variety of construction cases involving contract disputes, professional negligence, bid protests, open accounts, and property damage from construction vibrations. He also has experience with construction claims on both private and public projects related to delays, change orders, construction defects, design defects, incomplete designs, and contract terminations.
