Bessie L. Renfrow |  Associate

Bess Renfrow focuses her practice in the area of land use law. Her experience in zoning, land use development, local regulatory compliance and property law allows her to advise and represent clients on a wide range of legal matters related to local development. She has considerable experience in drafting development agreements providing for large-scale infrastructure improvements and construction-management plans for both commercial and residential developments. Bess also has experience with the local government procurement process that allows her to advise clients with the complex issues involved in this process. 

Bess has a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New Orleans and was employed as a land-use planner for several years before attending law school. As an attorney, she stays active in the local planning community by speaking and volunteering at local engagements. Before joining the firm, Bess served as an Assistant Parish Attorney with Jefferson Parish.
